Service Description

Camp meets Tuesday and Thursday after school from 3:30-5:00pm. The September session starts on Tuesday, September 5th and runs for 4 weeks for a total of 8 classes(the last day is Thursday, September 28th). Each week of camp will alternate between focus on 2D and 3D art-making. During our September session, our young artists will: -Explore and learn new drawing, painting, and mixed-media art techniques while creatively tapping into their unique self-expression -Have fun and socialize with friends while tapping into the freedom, joy and wellbeing benefits of creativity, artmaking and summer fun -Enjoy tailor-made, encouraging and non-judgemental art instruction from our art educators while creating artwork with watercolor paints, pastels, colored pencils, found objects, collage, mixed-media and more -Learn dozens of new artistic techniques such as blending, shading, perspective, 3D effect, layering, color mixing, multimedia materials, and more! -Receive the lasting benefits of art classes proven by science, including increased communication skills, enhanced relaxation, greater focus, increased self-esteem, boosted social skills and heightened academic success!
