This beginner's class is an introduction to glass fusion! Glass fusion is a technique that involves stacking or layering compatible pieces of glass and heating them in a kiln until they bond together to form a single, cohesive piece of art. This workshop is great for learning glass fusion basics, and experimenting with glass pieces to make a beautiful work of art or piece of home decor. In this workshop, students will use recycled glass pieces to compose 4 designs on top of prefabricated 4"x4" clear glass panels. The best designs are simple, bold shapes- both abstract and representational imagery work great! Student will glue down their designs onto the coasters, and then our team will take it from there! The turnaround for all glass fusion classes is 3-4 weeks. Our team will reach out when your pieces are ready for pickup! This is a two hour class, no experience is necessary. All materials will be included- each student can make 4 coasters. Can't wait to see you there!
